Good afternoon church!

I have some sad news to share with you today. Unfortunately, this week we've had three church staff members test positive for Covid-19. At this point, they're all doing okay. However, they certainly need our prayers as they recover. We have also contacted any known individuals exposed to them this week or last Sunday.

In light of their positive tests, and their contact with other staff members, we've made the decision to CANCEL ALL IN-PERSON SERVICES for Sunday, December 13, 2020. We will still stream the Sunday morning sermon on both Facebook and Youtube at 10:00AM. I hope you'll join us for this online service.

As for additional services, we made the decision previously to cancel Sunday School and in-person Sunday evening or Wednesday evening services until at least January 10. We will stream Bible studies at 6:00PM on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Also, as you now, December is an important month in the financial life of our church. You have all been incredibly faithful to continue faithful giving to the Lord through His church here at FBC Byram even in the midst of a pandemic. I want to encourage you to continue with your faithfulness in this area. You can still give online at fbcbyram.com/give or you may mail a check to the church office at 7541 Siwell Rd., Byram, MS 39272. Also, at this moment, we plan to keep the church office open for it's regular hours from 8-4 Monday through Friday (closed from 12-1 for lunch).

I will meet tomorrow with other church leadership to make decisions regarding any additional changes moving forward. We will let you know as soon as possible if we need to make other adjustments.

Finally, I know this is an incredibly difficult time for us all. I am praying for you and eagerly looking forward to being able to regularly worship together again. If you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to contact me, the church office, church staff, or your deacon.

See you soon!

Your Pastor,

Brandon Powell
